DESCRIPTION:This Capital Pride Month\, GayZone is partnering with Ottawa Public Health to host an mpox vaccination clinic for eligible community members.  \n\n\n\nPlease take a minute to review the eligibility criteria below before booking an appointment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho can receive the Imvamune® vaccine for protection before an exposure to the mpox virus?  \n\n\n\nAnyone who received one dose of the Imvamune® mpox vaccine can now receive a second dose at least 28 days after receiving their first dose. This includes individuals who received the vaccine for protection before or after an exposure to the mpox virus.  \n\n\n\nBased on the Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines\, the following groups are eligible for a 2-dose series of the Imvamune® vaccine for protection. \n\n\n\na) Two-spirited\, non-binary\, transgender\, cisgender\, intersex\, or gender-queer individuals who self-identify or have sexual partners who self-identify as belonging to the gay\, bisexual\, pansexual and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM) community AND at least one of the following: \n\n\n\n\nHad a confirmed sexually transmitted infection within the last year.\n\n\n\nHave or are planning to have two or more sexual partners or are in a relationship where at least one of the partners may have other sexual partners.\n\n\n\nHave attended venues for sexual contact (i.e.\, bath houses\, sex clubs) recently or may be planning to\, or who work/volunteer in these settings.\n\n\n\nHave had anonymous sex (e.g.\, using hookup apps) recently or may be planning to.\n\n\n\nAre a sexual contact of an individual who engages in sex work.\n\n\n\n\nb) Individuals who self-identify as engaging in sex work or are planning to\, regardless of self-identified sex or gender. \n\n\n\nc) Household and/or sexual contacts of those identified for pre-exposure vaccination eligibility in parts (a) and/or (b) above AND who are moderately to severely immunocompromised or pregnant may be considered for pre-exposure vaccination. SUMMARY:Rainbow Flow
DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Flow is a 90 minute yoga class focused on a holistic practice including movement\, meditation\, and breath work. Incorporating accessible shapes and flows\, that may be adjusted to suit all levels of practice. No previous yoga experience will be required\, nor any base level of flexibility. Each class is run with the goal to help participants leave with a sense of ease of self\, and tools to return to that sense on or off the mat. The class makes room to explore the other limbs of yoga beyond just asana\, practicing wellness instead of fitness. \n\n\n\nIn order to participate and benefit from the class participants must: \n\n\n\n\nBe able to stand up from sitting on the floor or a block\n\n\n\nWear clothes you are comfortable in\, that allow for range of movement\n\n\n\nSigned a liability waiver\n\n\n\nOptional: Bring a water bottle\n\n\n\n\nSpots are limited: Sign up through the form below to secure yours
