We’ll still ask you to fill out a sign up form\, show ID\, and sign a waiver. You can always sign up for a full membership on our site here or at Probe. \n\n\n\nChoose your comfort level and participate in a consent focused show—wear a provided glow stick to indicate you are comfortable with performers interacting with you during their numbers\, and sit in the front rows! Alternatively\, sit in the back rows without a glow stick for an interaction-free show. \n\n\n\nGalactic Gala is happy to say that we pay every performer a guaranteed amount\, however tips are still highly encouraged as all the performers put so much into these numbers. For ease\, tip jars for each performer will be available. Feel free to tip the performer directly or utilize the tip jars throughout the show. Bring those $5 bills!! Join us for light conversation\, bring your scent-free arts and crafts\, or enjoy board and card games with us during this chill evening! \n\n\n\nFeel free to dress in your favourite winter spirit attire to celebrate the holidays with us. ❄️ If you’re feeling extra naughty this year\, bring your Krampus horns! Escape from the cold and join us for some hot chocolate\, crafts\, and fun games to celebrate the end of 2025 and welcome 2026! 🎉 \n\n\n\nWhy Soft and Low? Social Nights can be so much fun and a great way to get to know the community! However\, for those with sensory processing issues and multiple chemical sensitivities\, they can become overwhelming and unmanageable due to lighting\, noise and loud talking\, and wafts of perfume. Soft and Low events strive to create a pleasant\, quieter atmosphere with dimmed lighting for those who require a less overstimulating environment. \n\n\n\nWe request that attendees refrain from using scented body and hair products such as perfumes\, sprays\, colognes\, fragranced shampoos/conditioners\, scented lotions\, strong deodorants\, hairsprays\, etc. the day of or during the event. Please ensure any craft items brought into the space are non-toxic\, easy to clean up\, and don’t produce fumes or odors (i.e. no glues\, markers\, glitter\, varnishes\, or paints except watercolours). Those wearing fragranced products will kindly be offered the opportunity to return at another time\, thus ensuring a scent-free environment for all participants with sensitivities or allergies. \n\n\n\nThis is a drop in event. Probe is leaving the city for our first-ever countryside retreat! Join us at an active produce farm for a weekend of queer connection\, hands-on learning\, and a full day of curious delights. \n\n\n\nBy day\, soak in the pastoral vibes while exploring workshops like yoga\, leatherworking\, and rope. Enjoy farm-fresh veggies\, delicious eats from the Arlington 5 food truck\, and a chance to wander\, learn\, and play in the open air. The farm will stay PG until evening\, but don’t worry\, things heat up after dark. \n\n\n\nAfter dinner\, we’ll turn up the energy with karaoke\, leading into a late-night play party starting at 8PM in a covered space with a stage\, DJ beats until 11PM\, and moody music deep into the night. We will have a kitchen tent set up for those wanting to try their hand at campy culinary arts.  \n\n\n\n🎤 5:00–8:00 PM – Rainbow Karaoke \n\n\n\nDinner meets diva energy with Probe’s Rainbow Karaoke hosted by @SwitchLifeSteve. Sing your heart out under the twilight sky while the farm transitions into evening mode. \n\n\n\n🔥 6:00–7:00 PM – Cigar Social \n\n\n\nCozy up around the campfire with @LadyFreyAnna and @TherapyDoll for cigars\, iced tea\, and good conversation. Bring your favourite cigar\, beverage (please note this event does not permit alcohol)\, and a chair or blanket. Light play is welcome\, but mostly\, just relax\, be served\, and enjoy the fire. \n\n\n\n🌙 8:00 PM–2:00 AM – Play Party \n\n\n\nAs night falls\, the big tent becomes our dungeon. With a live DJ from 8–11 PM setting the mood\, and quieter beats until close\, the night is yours to play\, connect\, and explore. Rigging points and play furniture will be available. \n\n\n\n🌅 Sunday Morning \n\n\n\nCoffee and croissants courtesy of CC’s Corner Coffee\, plus a gentle wind-down as we pack up and head home by noon. \n\n\n\n💡 Logistics to Know \n\n\n\n\nTent camping is available—bring your own gear (no RVs). Upon registration let us know if you’d like a spot close to the action or in a more remote location on the property. There will be designated areas for pitching tents. \n\n\n\nA bus will transport attendees and gear from Probe at 41 York St. at 11 AM to the farm. A return bus will depart the farm at 11 AM on Sunday morning. Please indicate when purchasing your ticket if you would like to utilize this option—there is no additional charge. \n\n\n\nPorta-potties will be on site\, including a wheelchair-accessible unit.\n\n\n\nNo pets are allowed in the camping or main event area\, unless they are a service animal. \n\n\n\nThere is no running water and electricity will not be available to attendees. Please bring drinking water (well water is provided on site) and charge your electronics before arriving. If you have any accessibility requirements\, please reach out to us to discuss. \n\n\n\nThere is a fire pit for gathering; no additional campfires will be permitted. \n\n\n\nPlease provide the same respect to the farm and those who work there as you would to those at Probe. Keep your areas tidy and dispose of garbage in available receptacles. \n\n\n\nThis is an active produce farm and is open to the public on Saturdays until 5PM. We kindly ask that you remain mindful of this\, and we will obscure views and cordon off the main event area as best we can for privacy. \n\n\n\nPlease obtain consent from everyone involved before taking photos. We also ask that you do not tag Rideau Pine Farms in anything kink related. Additionally\, the farmhouse is off limits\, as is any neighbouring property. \n\n\n\nQuiet time begins at 11PM; low music and play are welcome until 2AM. \n\n\n\nAs this is a commercial venue\, the same rules apply here as at Probe: we do not hold a liquor license and BYOB is prohibited. DESCRIPTION:Get your geek on! Come check out the Ottawa chapter of Geeky & Kinky\, hosted by @josdine the 2nd Wednesday of each month. \n\n\n\nOur goal is to bring you approachable social events that help geeky folks meet each other and provide a friendly\, warm setting for people to get to know the community. Feel free to bring a board game you’d like to share with others. \n\n\n\nMembership not required. This is a drop in event\, we accept donations to fuel our intergalactic cause\, but there are no tickets or minimum cost. \n\n\n\nWe have a range of board games spread out for you to select from. Tea\, coffee\, and pop are always available\, as are a variety of snacks. Attendees are always welcome to bring a treat to share or a game they’re comfortable teaching others to play. We’d love to get a glimpse at what you have on your game shelf! \n\n\n\nThe dress code is casual. You might see a collar or two\, but feel free to come as you are. This event is not intended for play or finding a date. SUMMARY:Intro to Electroplay
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a shockingly informative workshop on Electro Play with @LTX4ME \n\n\n\nYou will learn about general Electrical Play with a focus on the Violet Wand and how to safely use it in your play. \n\n\n\nThis workshop will present the fundamentals of electroplay including: \n\n\n\n\nSafety when playing with electricity\n\n\n\nThe various types of electroplay\n\n\n\nDetails on violet wands including;\n\n\n\nThe workings of a violet wand\n\n\n\nWhy and how to use a violet wand\n\n\n\nSetup and troubleshooting\n\n\n\nHow to get most of your violet wand\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop will be broken up into two parts. \n\n\n\nThe first portion of the workshop will address the theory\, while the last portion will be a mix of theory and hands on. \n\n\n\nThe time will be split between instruction and experimentation. \n\n\n\nThis class requires a partner. During the practical experimentation\, switching between giving/receiving will be available.  \n\n\n\nPrerequisites:  This is an introductory class\, so no knowledge requirements. \n\n\n\nSafety: \n\n\n\nPeople with the following conditions cannot participate: \n\n\n\nPregnant\, Heart Disease\, and electronic implants (pacemakers\, Cochlear implants). \n\n\n\nClothing: Footwear with sole (rubber or leather) for the person/s giving\, removable clothes to expose skin for the person/s receiving (at your comfort level\, it is suggested that at least the back being accessible). \n\n\n\nTickets are sold per person. Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. All ticket types provide the same access to the event. \n\n\n\nThis workshop does not require a membership. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the class. \n\n\n\n@LTX4ME has shocked a few hundred people in the last decade!  He began using a violet wand and other electrical toys in 2012\, presenting workshops and demos at events\, dungeons and classrooms.  Loving how the technical aspect meets the subtlety of human feedback\, the violet wand is one of his favorite toys.  He strives to present this type of play in a safe\, understandable and fun way.

Meet like-minded individuals and forge new connections in an environment designed for comfort and accessibility. \n\n\n\nWith low lighting\, lower volume\, and a scent-free space you can relax and enjoy the show. There will be plenty of fidget toys and activities to go along with the show. With accessible gender-neutral washrooms\, mandatory consent policies\, and a dedicated quiet room\, this is not your typical drag or variety show—it’s something truly special.l ✨ \n\n\n\nMasks are required\, and high-quality masks will be available on-site (though we encourage you to bring your own). No matter how you identify that you are aroace you are welcome to come and check out the Aro/Ace Social at Probe. \n\n\n\nCome and meet other member of the aroace community like @ZendraPinkFox who is hosting the Aro/Ace Social. Allies\, friends\, partners\, and those who are curious to learn more are warmly invited to join us in building understanding and inclusion with the chance for casual conversation and deeper discussions.  \n\n\n\nIf you need a break from all the noise and bright lights Probe has a Quite/Aftercare Room with ear plugs/headphones and a bluetooth speaker to help you relax.  If you need to take a break from socializing you can do that\, Probe is a place where you can be who you are without judgement.      \n\n\n\nMembership not required.
