DESCRIPTION:This month\, we’re continuing our conversations about healthy masculinity for transmasculine people\, with a specific focus on racialized experiences. \n\n\n\nWe’ll explore our experiences of gender\, transitioning\, and building community.We will guide folks through a zine-making activity to reflect on our relationships with our “pre-trans” selves. \n\n\n\nAs a group\, we’re hoping to talk through things like male privilege\, fetishization\, emotional regulation\, our relationship to femininity\, and more. \n\n\n\nCraft supplies and light snacks will be provided! We look forward to coming together in the park ❤️ \n\n\n\n🎒 Bring something to sit on\, water\, and something to use to write on (i.e. clipboard or book)💭 This is intended to be a closed space for BIPOC trans folks \n\n\n\nRegistration link is below\, exact meeting location will be sent out the day of 🫶🏼

DESCRIPTION:are you a transmasc person over the age of 25? are you craving Outside Time after a long winter cooped up inside? good news\, we’re going on a hike! 🎷🐛 \n\n\n\n✮ what to expect ✮we’ll walk at a leisurely pace and hopefully spot lots of wildlife and creatures*chestnut-sided warbler and blanding’s turtle not guaranteed* if you’re a plant or bug enthusiast / avid birdwatcher and would like to help guide the group\, feel free to DM us 🌻 \n\n\n\nthe trail might be muddy so dress accordingly. we’ll loop once or twice around the mud lake trail and get ice cream at the beachconers at the end! frolicking is strongly encouraged! \n\n\n\n✮ what to bring ✮water\, snacks\, mud-resistant shoes\, a loved one if they’re also 25+\, sunscreen\, survival instincts \n\n\n\n✮ remember to: ✮leave no trace and keep your distance with wildlife 🦃 \n\n\n\nmeet us at the trail entrance near linkoln heights playground at 11 am on sunday\, may 17th 💫 rain or shine!!!!

In need of the dramatic queer mullet of your dreams? \n\n\n\nWe’re partnering up with Ty @gentlethembarber for a haircut day this month!! ✂️🔥 \n\n\n\nAll are welcome\, whether or not you’re getting your hair cut. Come to give moral support to your friends getting the big chop\, or just to hang out at the library. \n\n\n\nCheck out @gentlethembarber’s page for inspo\, or bring your own reference photos. Please note that Ty doesn’t do asymmetrical or feminine cuts. \n\n\n\nIf you’re feeling bold\, we’ll also have some volunteers with clippers who can give you a buzz cut… no guarantees on the quality! \n\n\n\nPlease only sign up for the professional cuts if you’re facing barriers to regular barbershops (financial or gender reasons) since we only have 8 spots available!!!
