SUMMARY:Covid-Cautious Burlesque Workshop Featuring Saffron St. James
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a covid-cautious burlesque workshop\, featuring the talented Saffron St. James. \n\n\n\nThis is a beginner-friendly workshop\, so no dance\, burlesque or performing experience is required! All levels are welcome. \n\n\n\nDate: May 25th\, 2025 \n\n\n\nTime: 2:00 – 3:30 PM \n\n\n\nLocation: McNabb Community Centre (180 Percy Ave.) \n\n\n\nDue to the nature of the workshop\, we require that all attendees be 18+ (no exceptions!). \n\n\n\nTickets: $20/each (+ fees) \n\n\n\nThe ticket cost goes directly towards paying our facilitator and the space rental.Any leftover funds will be donated to Mask Bloc Ottawa (@maskblocott)\, to support the distribution of high quality masks and COVID tests to community members in so-called Ottawa.  \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in paying it forward to help support those for whom this cost may be a barrier\, please select “Community Ticket” at check out! If you need a sponsored ticket\, please email wheelieproductions.yow@gmail.com. \n\n\n\nWheelie Productions is committed to accessibility & disability justice. We ask that all attendees wear a high-quality mask/respirator (KN95 or better) to increase the safety of our space. We will have extra KN95 & N95 masks + hand sanitizer available. If you arrive with a surgical or cloth mask\, or a mask that is ill-fitting\, we will ask that you choose a mask from our selection. \n\n\n\nWe also encourage folks to take a COVID test prior to the workshop\, as an extra means of precaution and COVID mitigation! \n\n\n\nIf you are sick PLEASE do not attend the workshop. We do not want to risk spreading illness to our community! \n\n\n\nMore Access Notes:☆ We will have several air filters running throughout the studio space! \n\n\n\n☆ McNabb Community Centre is wheelchair accessible\, and we welcome participants of all abilities!
