SUMMARY:Bowl-A-Thon
DESCRIPTION:After a 6-year hiatus\, the Bowl-A-Thon is back! From 2005 to 2019\, the Bowl-A-Thon gathered friends\, families\, and allies from far and wide to help raise funds to send kids to camp. And we are so excited to bring this wonderful family event back to the community. Our goal is to bring children\, youth\, friends\, and family together for a day of FUNdraising and bowling adventures. All funds raised will help subsidize camp fees for the 181 campers who are attending camp this summer! This year\, Ten Oaks aims to raise $40\,000! \n\n\n\nThe 2025 Bowl-A-Thon will take place on June 1\, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. We welcome participants of all ages\, skill levels\, and abilities to join us for bowling\, arcade games and prizes! On the day of the Bowl-A-Thon\, teams enjoy an afternoon of incredible fun: bowl\, play arcade games\, and participate in team spirit challenges to win prizes! Costumes and team themes are strongly encouraged.

Sign up for this 101 course for an introduction to DJing with DJ del Pilar! \n\n\n\nWhat to expect? \n\n\n\nThis is a hands-off course for those with no experience to familiarize themselves with definitions\, gear and where to find music. You’ll be encouraged to think about what you want to get out of DJing and how that might shape what you need to learn. You’ll also meet others who are interested in DJing! \n\n\n\nTakeaways \n\n\n\nYou’ll go home with some resources for learning more about DJing including sites where you can learn to beatmatch using your computer and buy music. There are automatic doors on the outside of the building but the door to the studio is manual. \n\n\n\nThere are accessible washrooms on the 2nd floor. The (gendered) washrooms are shared with the whole floor but after hours it’s unlikely anyone else will be on site. \n\n\n\nThe studio is over 800 square feet of open space with an 11 ft ceiling \n\n\n\nFor seating\, we have several options – White folding chairs (max 225lbs /102 kg static) Blue stacking chairs ( max 660lbs / 299.3 kg static) Brown couch (max 700lbs/317.5 kg static) Rustic brown stools (max 264.5lbs/ 120 kg static)
