GREAT prizes for best costumes! ‘Tis the season to be spooky! \n\n\n\nNote: costumes are optional… if you don’t want to dress up\, you’re still welcome to attend (but costumes are sooo fun\, lol)! \n\n\n\nWomen\, ages 19+\, who identify as lesbian\, trans\, Two-Spirit\, bi\, poly\, pan\, and queer or questioning\, including non binary lesbians are welcome!\n\n\n\nTickets:\n\n\n\n\n$32 – advance online purchase (until October 25 at 11:59 pm)\n\n\n\n$42 – Oct 26 onward\, including at the door\, if tickets remain\n\n\n\n\nQueer Agenda:\n\n\n\n\n8 pm – Doors open\n\n\n\n8 pm to 10 pm – Costume contest registration at photo backdrop area\n\n\n\n9 pm to 1 am – DJ Karyen and special guest performers\n\n\n\n10:30 pm – Costume & raffle prize winners announced\n\n\n\n\nYour ticket includes:\n\n\n\n\nPhoto backdrop – you provide the smiles\, we’ll provide the props!\n\n\n\nGet your glow on – glow bracelets are back! SUMMARY:Halloween Harvest Potluck
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the post-Halloween glow with the Capital Bi’s community! Their next free event will be a cozy field trip to @slowcraftfarm on the outskirts of Kanata. Come leaf peep with them!  \n\n\n\nFeaturing: \n\n\n\n🍲 Community potluck. Bring something to share! We’ll have vegan soup\, tea and coffee on hand. \n\n\n\n🔥 Bonfire to celebrate spooky season! Weather permitting. Wear warm clothes and farm appropriate footwear. BYO camp chair if you are able\, they’ll have extras on hand! \n\n\n\n🎃 Smashing Pumpkins! BYO carved pumpkin for a showcase and the opportunity to let loose and (safely) smash your pumpkin into the farm compost pile. Emotional catharsis! \n\n\n\n🍂 Cozy time with friends and nature. Enjoy a quiet craft corner\, farm walks\, bird watching & more.  \n\n\n\n📍Location and Accessibility: Slowcraft is a working farm. The bonfire area is a 1 minute walk from parking\, without stairs or slopes\, but the washroom inside the farmhouse is accessed via 5 stairs that do not have a railing\, which may limit some mobility devices.  \n\n\n\nThis is an outdoor-indoor hybrid event and masking is required indoors. They are planning for an outdoor late fall hang\, and the plan for inclement weather is to gather inside the farmhouse. **Please bring a high-quality mask (KN95 or better)\, they’ll have a few to share as needed\, and stay home if you’re not feeling well! \n\n\n\nThe farmhouse also hosts 4 cats\, but a separate bunkie will be warmed and available for anyone with serious allergies.  \n\n\n\n🚙They’ll be coordinating a carpool and pickups from the Eagleson park and ride over on the Discord server\, as there are no direct transit options on the weekend. Or DM them for directions & carpool connect if you’re not on Discord!
