SUMMARY:Transform Gender Collective (TGC) Monthly Meetings
DESCRIPTION:Transform Gender Collective (TGC) is a support and discussion group for transmasculine and masculine-of-center Black\, indigenous\, and people of color (BIPOC) to learn about transformative justice\, unlearn toxic gendered behaviors\, and imagine what masculinity could look like outside of the gender binary.  \n\n\n\nDuring our virtual meetings\, we will dive deep into the framework of transformative justice (TJ) and how we can apply it to our everyday lives\, create a community of support for one another\, and share our personal stories of coming into our genders. Our ultimate goal is to move the group towards a closed community accountability space where we can practice robust transformative justice as we heal and grow in our masculinities together.  \n\n\n\nTGC is open to any Black\, Indigenous\, and/or person of color (BIPOC) who identifies as transmasculine or masculine-of-center\, regardless of gender identity.  \n\n\n\nWe ask that white-passing BIPOC reflect on their privilege and the way they are racialized. At TGC\, we discuss our gendered experiences as people that are racialized as Black or brown in the world. Please choose whether to attend our meetings based on these reflections.   \n\n\n\nOur virtual monthly meetings are held over Zoom and take place on the last Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8PM EST. This K1\, we are focusing on practical financial preparedness strategies that support confidence in navigating everyday financial decisions. Join us to explore budgeting basics\, planning for unexpected expenses\, and understanding financial systems in ways that are accessible and relevant. \n\n\n\nThrough discussion and resource sharing\, we’ll break down common financial barriers and identify steps you can take toward greater security at your own pace. The session centers real-life application\, community support\, and informed decision-making. \n\n\n\nJoin us to build confidence\, reduce financial stress\, and strengthen your foundation for the future. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNotes on Accessibility\n\n\n\n\nOur building has three elevators\, and our office is fully wheelchair accessible. Different seating options are available throughout the evening. There is a gender neutral and wheelchair accessible washroom just outside of our office. Please let us know in advance if you require any additional accommodations.\n\n\n\nOur office is right around the corner from bus stops for the 6\, 7\, and 11. We’re about a 5-minute walk from the nearest stop for the 14\, and a 10-minute walk from Parliament Station (Line 1 of the O-train). There are also several paid parking lots and garages within walking distance. If transit is a barrier for you to attend a session\, let us know and we’ll help you out!\n\n\n\nIf you get here after 6:30 pm\, the doors and elevator will be locked. DESCRIPTION:Queer Dodgeball is all about having fun. A low-commitment activity to do with friends – you might even make new friends too! \n\n\n\nHaven’t played dodgeball since elementary school? Don’t worry\, neither have we. The rules of the game are explained before every session. Headshots are not allowed. \n\n\n\nYou need: A pair of indoor shoes! You will not be granted access into the gym without this. \n\n\n\nHow to sign up?\n\n\n\nSign up for the full season or for individual games through the link below. For drop-ins\, select the date you’d like to sign up for and follow the prompts.  \n\n\n\nYou will receive a confirmation email upon payments. You only need to fill out the waiver and health questionnaire once per season.
