DESCRIPTION:This picnic is an invitation for queer BIPOC sapphics to gather softly\, casually\, and in community. Just blankets\, snacks\, laughter\, and conversations. Maybe some flirting\, dancing\, and playing.

Come solo or with friends. Come overstimulated\, shy\, excited\, awkward\, soft\, tired\, chatty\, quiet. There is no “right” way to arrive.

Liv and Amal (your “hosts”) have been craving more spaces where we don’t have to search for each other in handfuls among mostly white queer crowds. \n\n\n\nWe love queer community deeply\, and also know the particular exhale that happens when BIPOC sapphics gather together. The softness. The familiarity. The shared cultural nuance. The relief of not having to explain certain parts of ourselves. \n\n\n\nSo we thought… what if we simply made the thing we’ve been longing for \n\n\n\n🌸 The Vibe + what to bring:Think easeful\, low-stress and pleasurable picnic.
Bring a blanket if you can! Bring a snack and/or bevie\, enough for you + maybe 3 friends to share. \n\n\n\nIdeas: a dip + something to dip into it lol\, berries\, oranges\, watermelons\, other fruits\, chips\, sparkling water\, juice\, pastries\, store-bought or homemade snacks (literally whatever feels easy). And if elaborate is your easy\, go for it! haha \n\n\n\nIf the weather is giving rain and thunder\, or if it’s smoky\, we’ll gather at a secondary location\, please RSVP so that we can send you the address Monday morning). \n\n\n\nLooking forward to being together. 💐🌸

DESCRIPTION:Wanna lift weights with queer people?? \n\n\n\nCome lift with us! First-time lifters welcome! All 2SLGBTQIA+ people welcome!(drop-in\, free\, No registration required) \n\n\n\nJuly drop-in schedule:☆ Monday\, July 6\, 13\, 20\, and 27 (7pm to 9pm) \n\n\n\nWe provide snacks\, water\, masks\, and weightlifting equipment! See the link below for more information. \n\n\n\nWaivers:– Everyone is required to sign a waiver upon entry. No deadnames allowed on the waivers.– For those who’re under 18 years of age\, make sure a legal gaurdian can sign your waiver. There’s no mention of “queer” on the under 18 waiver.– Waivers can be viewed ahead of time through the link in our bio. \n\n\n\nMasks:– Wearing masks is mandatory.– We provide n95 masks.– Feel free to remove your mask to eat or drink\, but we ask that everyone respects the space of the people around them while doing so.– Windows will be open for air flow. \n\n\n\nEntrances:– Wheelchair accessible entrance faces Sparks St.– Part of the entrance measures only 35 inches in width.– Entry instructions posted on the door at both entrances. \n\n\n\nTransportation:– Free parking in the church’s driveway beside the parking lot.– Close to Lyon Station by train/bus.– Bikes can be kept in the church hall.– Paid parking in the parking lot.– Free street parking on nearby streets. \n\n\n\nRestrooms:– Two private\, gender-neutral restrooms. One is wheelchair accessible\, but does not have an automatic door opener.– Pads and tampons available for anyone who needs/wants them. \n\n\n\nQuiet area:The church itself serves as a quiet area with seating and low-lighting.
