DESCRIPTION:Celebrate bold queer cinema and art with us at the 2026 ChromaQueer Film + Arts Festival 🎬🏳️‍🌈 Taking place at Arts Court & Fono\, November 7-8\, 2026. This program is Free with a Pay-What-You-Can ticketing option\, which helps us to continue to deliver grass-roots queer programming in Ottawa. PWYC donations go directly to the artists and facilitators presenting their work at the festival. Please RSVP for the programming! \n\n\n\nThe weekend festival will bring together local filmmakers\, artists\, and organizations from 2SLGBTQIA+ communities to showcase Ottawa-based histories\, traditions\, and movements. We’re building on local efforts to improve queer wellbeing by continuing the momentum of arts programming and development in our city. \n\n\n\nChromaQueer combines documentary and narrative screenings with creative workshops\, dynamic live performances\, contemporary dance\, curated lectures\, guest artist Q&A’s\, and even a poetry karaoke event. \n\n\n\nWe welcome Ottawa audiences and all curious creatives to Arts Court + FONO 613 as we celebrate some of Canada’s trailblazing writers + performers\, the legacy of queer storytelling\, creative voices\, experimental film-making\, and historical depictions of sexuality in media art.

DESCRIPTION:OSPN in partnership with The Good Companions is delighted to offer in person programming to our 55+ LGBTQ2+ community.  \n\n\n\nJoin us every second and fourth Saturday of the month for a range of engaging activities\, from educational workshops to social programming\, all designed to foster connection\, support\, and enjoyment. Please bring physical donations of non-perishable and semi-perishable items that can be kept in a pantry. Every item makes a difference. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome.
