We’ll look back on the past year—acknowledging our journeys\, challenges\, and growth—while also looking ahead to 2026 with hope\, intention\, and community support. \n\n\n\nWhether you arrived in Ottawa recently or have been settled in for a while\, this conversation invites you to share your experiences\, celebrate resilience\, and explore what you want for the year ahead. Together\, we’ll talk about personal well-being\, navigating life as newcomers\, and the unique strengths we bring as 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. \n\n\n\nThis is a virtual session held on Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Join Queer Momentum’s executive director Fae Johnstone for a webinar on effective messaging for 2SLGBTQIA+ movements. In this session\, you’ll learn effective messaging frameworks and build your capacity to change hearts and minds – in conversation\, on stage and in the media. \n\n\n\nQueer Momentum’s Winter Webinars\n\n\n\nThrough our webinars\, we help power-up 2SLGBTQIA+ advocates and allies with training on effective advocacy\, movement-building and community organizing. These sessions are free\, and intended to help you – as an activist or ally – become a stronger advocate.  \n\n\n\nThis winter\, we’re bringing you five sessions designed and delivered by our team\, ranging from effective messaging to arts-based activism to undertaking culturally aware advocacy. We’re proud of these sessions\, and excited to share them with you. All sessions will be recorded and shared with registrants – so don’t hesitate to sign up even if you can’t make it during the time-slot.
