DESCRIPTION:This year Black Queer Excellence (BQE) is back celebrating a milestone\, our 5th Edition! Under the theme DiscoNova\, DJ Jayel will have us groving to music from a golden era in Black Queer Culture – The 1970s! Join us as we celebrate the collective accomplishments of 2024 for our community\, and the hard work and dedication of community builders and leaders in Ottawa.  \n\n\n\nThe evening will be full of star power\, with special performances from the members of Touch Grass.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDisclaimer: This event is catered for members of the African\, Caribbean and Black (ACB) 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Ottawa. If you are not from that demographic but wish to attend\, you are welcome to join as a guest of someone who is from the (ACB) 2SLGBTQIA+ community. \n\n\n\nFourth Stage is fully accessible for patrons in wheelchairs.
