SUMMARY:Trans Movie Night & Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:In direct response to the anti-trans event that occurred on February 15\, with funds going toward creating safer spaces and amplifying trans voices in media. \n\n\n\nWe will be screening several films – all made by Queer/ Trans folks. Bring a picnic blanket or cushion\, as we will be doing a lawn-style screening in the space! (Chairs will be reserved for folks in need). There will also be a raffle! Purchase raffle tickets at the event and you can place your raffle tickets in the bin in front of the items that you hope to win! The draw for each item will happen at the end of the evening. \n\n\n\nSliding scale tickets / raffle tickets for sale at the eventKN-95 Masks are required\, eating and drinking will occur in the hallway outside the venue.Please send an email to thegrove78@gmail.com if you have accessibility needs.About the Organizations we’re supporting:The Trans Library is a community-run space dedicated to preserving and sharing trans literature\, history\, and art.The Trans Media Portal is an initiative that archives and uplifts trans-made media\, ensuring greater visibility and accessibility for trans stories.Support & Share:Even if you can’t attend\, consider donating or sharing this event to help us sustain and grow trans-centered media spaces. \n\n\n\nFolks under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
