DESCRIPTION:Bring a craft (sewing\, knitting\, crocheting\, quilting\, embroidery\, etc) and enjoy an afternoon with fellow sewists\, crafters\, and creators! If you think you’ll need a sewing machine or an iron/ironing board\, please let Josephine know in advance and she will try to accommodate (i.e.\, make sure those are available). \n\n\n\nThis is a masked event! Please bring a KN95 or higher mask (we have KN95s if you don’t have one!)

SUMMARY:RISE: a community singing event
DESCRIPTION:Come ready to sing! In this interactive concert\, Tone Cluster and All Voices queer choirs will lead the audience in singing songs of protest and justice\, as well as perform some choral numbers. Joining us for this event will be Kimberly Waigwa\, the Artistic Director of Minnesota’s One Voice Chorus!  \n\n\n\nThe concert will be approx. 75 mins\, with a short intermission.  \n\n\n\nThe venue is First Unitarian\, which is a wheelchair accessible space and has gender neutral single stall washrooms in addition to multiple stall gendered washrooms. Seating is cushioned wooden pews. The space is secular in nature.  \n\n\n\nFree parking is available on site and there are nearby bus stops. Please note that\, while there is a lot of construction in the neighbourhood\, Cleary Ave is open.  \n\n\n\nPlease contact manager@tonecluster.ca if you have any questions.
