Are you curious about new ways to practice mindfulness and play?! \n\n\n\nJoin us for a FREE silent disco park clean up\, where you’ll be able to listen to music with other participants using Bluetooth headphones while clearing McNabb park of litter and trash. Featured channel will be a live DJ set courtesy of DJ Del Pilar. \n\n\n\nNot interested in dancing? Drop by to chat with community volunteers who are passionate about ending plastic pollution and promoting circular economies. \n\n\n\n6:15 pm – 8 pm Tuesday May 13th 2025 – McNabb Park (180 Percy St)Rain date: Wednesday May 14th 2025\, 6:15 pm – 8 pm \n\n\n\nHeadphones\, trash bags\, gloves and a limited number of trash pickers will be provided – Bring water\, comfortable shoes\, and a piece of ID for your headphones deposit! \n\n\n\nAlthough registration is not required\, you can secure your headset by registering through the link below!

SUMMARY:Queer Bike Club
DESCRIPTION:🚨Ride Announcement!🚨 \n\n\n\nJoin us Tuesday\, May 13th for a ride to Vincent Massey Park! This will be a loop ride\, starting and ending at the Bayview Station (see slides through the link below) at 6:45pm\, leaving at 7. We will then ride to Vincent Massey Park\, chill for a bit there and then return back to Bayview as a group. Your ride home could be dark so please bring your charged bike lights (try the dollar store or bike shop). \n\n\n\nBring a chair\, or a blanket to sit on if you wish. \n\n\n\nAccessibility: \n\n\n\nThis route (13.6km Total) will be on bike paths \n\n\n\nWe will be crossing the canal at Hartwell Locks. There are two steps up to get onto the lock\, a narrow walkway with railings on both sides\, then two steps down. (Ride leaders can help lifting/moving bikes if needed\, just ask us!) \n\n\n\nThe ride will start and end at Bayview with a break at Vincent Massey Park \n\n\n\nAs always this is a no drop ride at a chill pace\, so no one gets left behind! Charge up those lights! \n\n\n\nHope to see you there!! 💖💖🌈🚲
