DESCRIPTION:The Lovers’ Demise album release party is a journey through the mind of a lover who seeks true connections. Combining genres like rnb\, soul and jazz\, Ébby is inviting real lovers to an immersive experience in which listeners are encouraged to be vulnerable and wear their hearts on their sleeve. Performances are brought to you by Ébby and Whitney Mambou. \n\n\n\nBIO\n\n\n\nÉbby is a Cameroonian multidisciplinary artist\, specializing in RnB\, soul and jazz. After completing the 2024 Produced by Youth advanced program\, they have been featured in two Pieces of Us seasons\, on Luscious Creatures as a new artist and performed at QYAC Rainbow Riffs showcase.   Now\, they are working on their debut album “Lover’s Demise”\, centring a queer love tale out on Valentine’s Day. With an insistence on being heard\, Ébby is determined to leave a lasting impact on the world.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\n$15 online / $20 at the door (if the event has not yet sold out online) \n\n\n\nYour ticket guarantees you a seat in the house but not necessarily a seat with a direct line of sight to the performers. Harmony and hope intertwine as we honour this moment of stillness with songs of reflection\, renewal\, and joy.Come warm your spirit!The concert will be approx. 75 mins (no intermission) with a light reception to follow.  \n\n\n\nThe venue is Centretown United\, which is a wheelchair accessible space and has gender neutral single stall washrooms. DESCRIPTION:Not your average holiday-season party\, Pique winter edition returns to Arts Court on December 13\, 2025 with a unique and eclectic program celebrating underground music\, forward-thinking art and bold performance. Designed for discovery\, community connection and radical self-expression\, Pique brings together some of the boldest ground-breaking artists from across Canada to experiment and engage with the local artistic community.  \n\n\n\nThis season\, Pique features emergent innovators in the fields of pop-avant garde\, ambient-electronic\, contemporary installation\, afro-rap\, and more. They include genre-fluid electronic producer Korea Town Acid\, ethereal club angel Monsieurmadam\, electrifying R&B/noise artist Quinton Barnes\, Afrobeats scene stealer Banggz\, global south sound selector TRINIDADDY\, fractal ambient brainfeeder 16:9 ratio\, cyborgian new media artist Ajeebsir\, anti-disciplinary installation collaborative Sabrina Ferrari & Evalyn Shields\, and eclectic songwriter Sandour.  \n\n\n\nPlus\, back by popular demand\, Pique will host the Queertopia kiki ball presented by Legendary Mother Maldita and Yéila Siriano\, welcoming legends and leaders from ballroom scenes across Canada to not only host a ball\, but also mentor emerging ballroom artists through skill-building workshops presented by MAX Ottawa. Community members can sign up to walk the ball here. More information about workshops coming soon.  \n\n\n\nTickets to Pique are pay-what-you-can (PWYC)\, with sliding-scale and subsidized options available. Our PWYC ticket keeps the festival open to everyone while inviting those who can pay more to help cover the cost for others. Every contribution above the minimum goes directly toward fair artist pay\, inclusive programming\, and supporting independent culture in Ottawa.  \n\n\n\nFeaturing performances\, exhibitions and interactive presentations by 20 participating artists\, Pique winter edition is not to be missed  \n\n\n\nACCESSIBILITY  \n\n\n\nAs always\, Pique is all ages and pay-what-you-can. The event site is accessible\, and our detailed accessibility policy and event information are available on our accessibility page.  \n\n\n\nThe EQUIPE harm reduction team will be on-site to support audience members and hand out free supplies thanks to our partners at MAX Ottawa.
