SUMMARY:Minkpoor's Pop-Up
DESCRIPTION:Swing by Maxwell’s for an exciting art/clothing sale pop up\, Saturday the 6th of September! \n\n\n\nPLACE: 2-77 Rue WrightTIME: 9AM-7PM \n\n\n\nACCESSIBILITY: The apartment is walk-up with stairs. There is railing on both sides but the right one is wobbly. Please knock/ring the bell to be let in. \n\n\n\nMASKING: This is a mask mandatory event\, and there will be masks available at the door. Please feel free to bring your own KN95 or N95 respirator\, but less effective medical or cloth masks won’t be accepted. \n\n\n\nTRANSIT: This pop up is a block away from a bus station and it is super easy to get to it from downtown. \n\n\n\nPAY: The event is cash and e-transfer only\, but cash is much preferred. \n\n\n\nTATTOO RAFFLE: Everyone who visits the pop up has the chance to win a FREE TATTOO or a super discounted one! I will have 10 designs to choose from\, and tickets are $5 each\, or $10 for 3. The winners will be picked the night of the event and will hear from me through DMs. \n\n\n\nTHRIFTED CLOTHING: I have a ton of clothing that I’ve grown out of or don’t fit in. Most of it will be very cheap\, in $5 or $10 bins with some never worn pieces individually priced. Unfortunately the size range is only S-XL\, as these are all my old clothes. \n\n\n\nMINKPOOR CUSTOM CLOTHES: Sizes S-3XL\, I’ve made a bunch of new garments for this pop up! If you like my customized clothing feel free to ask about getting something of yours printed/bleached on\, or buy a piece of clothing and leave it with me to customize! \n\n\n\nSHOES: I have a handful of super cool shoes/boots for sale\, all sizes 6-7W\, some brand new. If you know someone with small feet like mine let them know to check it out! \n\n\n\nART: I’ll have the regular types of art I usually sell at markets – original drawings/ paintinas. lino prints\, mystery print bags\, and face doodles made on the spot for you! DESCRIPTION:Our first ever kinky campout! Come explore\, connect\, and play under the stars. \n\n\n\nPack your tent\, your toy bag\, and your curiosity. Probe is leaving the city for our first-ever countryside retreat! Join us at an active produce farm for a weekend of queer connection\, hands-on learning\, and a full day of curious delights. \n\n\n\nBy day\, soak in the pastoral vibes while exploring workshops like yoga\, leatherworking\, and rope. Enjoy farm-fresh veggies\, delicious eats from the Arlington 5 food truck\, and a chance to wander\, learn\, and play in the open air. The farm will stay PG until evening\, but don’t worry\, things heat up after dark. \n\n\n\nAfter dinner\, we’ll turn up the energy with karaoke\, leading into a late-night play party starting at 8PM in a covered space with a stage\, DJ beats until 11PM\, and moody music deep into the night. You can also support the farm by purchasing produce from the market\, straight from field to feast. We will have a kitchen tent set up for those wanting to try their hand at campy culinary arts.  \n\n\n\n🎤 5:00–8:00 PM – Rainbow Karaoke \n\n\n\nDinner meets diva energy with Probe’s Rainbow Karaoke hosted by @SwitchLifeSteve. Sing your heart out under the twilight sky while the farm transitions into evening mode. \n\n\n\n🔥 6:00–7:00 PM – Cigar Social \n\n\n\nCozy up around the campfire with @LadyFreyAnna and @TherapyDoll for cigars\, iced tea\, and good conversation. Bring your favourite cigar\, beverage (please note this event does not permit alcohol)\, and a chair or blanket. Light play is welcome\, but mostly\, just relax\, be served\, and enjoy the fire. \n\n\n\n🌙 8:00 PM–2:00 AM – Play Party \n\n\n\nAs night falls\, the big tent becomes our dungeon. With a live DJ from 8–11 PM setting the mood\, and quieter beats until close\, the night is yours to play\, connect\, and explore. Rigging points and play furniture will be available. \n\n\n\n🌅 Sunday Morning \n\n\n\nCoffee and croissants courtesy of CC’s Corner Coffee\, plus a gentle wind-down as we pack up and head home by noon. \n\n\n\n💡 Logistics to Know \n\n\n\n\nTent camping is available—bring your own gear (no RVs). Upon registration let us know if you’d like a spot close to the action or in a more remote location on the property. There will be designated areas for pitching tents. \n\n\n\nA bus will transport attendees and gear from Probe at 41 York St. at 11 AM to the farm. A return bus will depart the farm at 11 AM on Sunday morning. Please indicate when purchasing your ticket if you would like to utilize this option—there is no additional charge. \n\n\n\nPorta-potties will be on site\, including a wheelchair-accessible unit.\n\n\n\nNo pets are allowed in the camping or main event area\, unless they are a service animal. \n\n\n\nThere is no running water and electricity will not be available to attendees. Please bring drinking water (well water is provided on site) and charge your electronics before arriving. If you have any accessibility requirements\, please reach out to us to discuss. \n\n\n\nThere is a fire pit for gathering; no additional campfires will be permitted. \n\n\n\nPlease provide the same respect to the farm and those who work there as you would to those at Probe. Keep your areas tidy and dispose of garbage in available receptacles. \n\n\n\nThis is an active produce farm and is open to the public on Saturdays until 5PM. We kindly ask that you remain mindful of this\, and we will obscure views and cordon off the main event area as best we can for privacy. \n\n\n\nPlease obtain consent from everyone involved before taking photos. We also ask that you do not tag Rideau Pine Farms in anything kink related. Additionally\, the farmhouse is off limits\, as is any neighbouring property. \n\n\n\nQuiet time begins at 11PM; low music and play are welcome until 2AM. \n\n\n\nAs this is a commercial venue\, the same rules apply here as at Probe: we do not hold a liquor license and BYOB is prohibited. Joining forces with the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) to co-produce multidisciplinary and interactive programming\, Pique brings together diverse artistic communities to explore\, experiment and connect. DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting community organizers and groups at this fair because we wanted to help queer folk living in Ottawa-Gatineau to find new spaces of belonging. Come check out our 13 (!) vendors and see all the wonderful people trying to make Ottawa a city with a thriving LGBTQ+ community! \n\n\n\nWe will be hosting the fair at 312 Laurier Avenue East at 1pm-4pm on September 28th! \n\n\n\nWe are planning to host it in the parking lot of the Amnesty International office building (weather permitting!) This event will be mobility accessible and masked so we can include as many people as we can! 💜 \n\n\n\nSome N-95 masks will be available but there is a limited supply so bring your own if you can! \n\n\n\nCome meet a few artists too and help support them by buying cool stuff 👀 \n\n\n\nTell your friends and we hope to see you there! 🌈💜
