DESCRIPTION:Girls+ to the Front Songwriters Circle showcase featuring women in music from Ottawa and beyond. \n\n\n\nJoin us for an evening featuring incredible artists and songwriters! \n\n\n\nPaula C has indulged in songwriting as early as the age of 13 year young with R&B as her biggest inspiration. Her soulful voice invites stories inspired by life’s joys and ways to overcome its challenges with introspective lyrics and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. \n\n\n\nzeelle has been a rising force in local music since moving to Ottawa. Her upbeat eerie pop-rock sound paired with intricate deep-cutting lyrics will make you dance\, cry\, sing and ache while loving every second. \n\n\n\nAnd your host!OK Naledi is a high energy\, Queer\, Afro-Fusion music project created by Ottawa based musician-producer Naledi Sunstrum. Featuring traditional sub-Saharan clean guitar lines\, classic deep bass and movement-inspiring beats\, OK Naledi’s compelling lyricism and catchy melodies showcase them as an exciting\, up and coming group to keep tabs on in the Canadian music landscape. OK Naledi is currently working on new music releases and tour planning for 2025.
