Showcasing experimental and underground music\, art\, and performance\, the quarterly festival features global innovators\, local creators\, and underground legends converging in downtown Ottawa’s Arts Court complex for a single-day blowout.  \n\n\n\nTaking place indoors and outdoors across 10 stages and spaces\, Pique’s programming has something for everyone: from thought-provoking dialogues to ethereal electronic performances to multi-arts convergences\, and even puppet dance parties. Joining forces with the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) to co-produce multidisciplinary and interactive programming\, Pique brings together diverse artistic communities to explore\, experiment and connect. Animating a club\, a cinema\, theatre and dance studios with bold\, boundary-pushing presentations\, Pique offers an immersive multidisciplinary experience that transforms the Arts Court into a playground for the avant-garde.  \n\n\n\nPlus\, Topique\, the forum for the exchange of forward-thinking ideas at Pique\, returns this fall with a series of artist talks and group sessions focused on building an equitable future music industry.  \n\n\n\nWith 20+ artists and 10 stages and exhibition spaces\, indoors and outdoors\, there is so much to experience at Pique!  \n\n\n\nPique is all ages and programming is offered in an accessible building with gender-inclusive washrooms.

ATM is available on site. Coat check available at the venue (cash)! \n\n\n\nMUSIC BY: \n\n\n\nJoe Rowe \n\n\n\nA 20-year veteran of the Canadian underground electronic music scene\, Ottawa-based DJ/Producer Joe Rowe has had the opportunity to perform at an impressive number of prestigious clubs\, raves and festivals\, including The Guvernment\, Circa\, White Rabbit\, Surface\, Mercury Lounge\, The Wiggle Room\, The Trinity Rooms in Ireland\, Revolution in New York City\, Groove & Bass Festival\, and the World Electronic Music Festival to name a few. \n\n\n\nIn recent years Joe has been busy in the studio focusing on Tech House\, Progressive\, Melodic House & Techno. His single “The Pursuit of Loneliness” saw support from artists such as Judge Jules\, Korolova and Sean & Dee\, and hit #1 on the Progressive House Hype Top 100 on Beatport\, even breaking into the overall Top 100 for all genres combined! She had her festival debut in June at Escapade Music Festival and is looking forward to continuing to share her sound in Ottawa and beyond.
