Our DJs will preach the gospel of rhythm and our provocative performers will serve divine seduction on stage. \n\n\n\nDrawn to ritual? Curious souls and seasoned players alike are invited to explore with the help of our professionals in the Kink Korner. \n\n\n\nDress in your kinky interpretation of the theme — saintly\, sinful\, celestial\, or somewhere in between. This is not a costume party. To enter\, your look must include fetish-forward materials or accessories: think latex\, leather\, PVC\, mesh\, corsets\, lace\, harnesses\, collars\, chains\, and more (see our Pinterest board for guidance). \n\n\n\nLet us gather in communion of music\, movement and self-expression\, and reclaim pleasure without shame or judgment! \n\n\n\nEVENT RULES: \n\n\n\nWe ask that you please carefully read the following before the event. \n\n\n\nFor more information regarding HoK House Rules\, see FAQ. \n\n\n\n\nDress Code – Kinky/fetish attire is mandatory. DESCRIPTION:Join local drag legends to celebrate the launch of the new “Drag the Archive” exhibit – and two years of Fairy Cowboy Tours! \n\n\n\nYOU’RE INVITED – to celebrate Ottawa’s Queer History! \n\n\n\nThis event is highlighting the launch of the ‘Drag the Archive’ exhibit\, an archival photo exhibition curated by Carleton University students in partnership with the City of Ottawa Equity Team and the City of Ottawa Archives AND the two year anniversary of Fairy Cowboy Tours\, a drag-artist led tour company focused on sharing stories of Ottawa’s queer history. \n\n\n\nCome dance the night away in community and queer joy at the 27 Club (27 York St) in downtown Ottawa! Masking is encouraged and N95 masks will be available at the door. Ages 19+. \n\n\n\nFeaturing speakers from the exhibit curation team\, as well as drag performances from China Doll\, Cyril Cinder\, Morgan Mercury\, and Yeti. Over the last seven years their dance parties have carved out an unmatched place in North American and European nightlife\, becoming an anticipated social gathering and unique musical experience. With recent features in the New York Times and Pitchfork and more\, the party is now active in more than 10 cities. \n\n\n\nEach party takes you on a genre-spanning journey\, highlighting the incredible musical diversity\, depth and richness that comes out of the region. Expect high-energy dance tracks and all your fave queers! \n\n\n\nGet fancy and dance with cuties! \n\n\n\nHighlights \n\n\n\n\nThis event centers people who are queer and/or trans who take covid precautions in their everyday lives. Allies who take covid precautions are also welcome but please be mindful that this is primarily a space for queer and/or trans folks. We also welcome 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who are interested in a sober-friendly space and who will respect the covid-safer protocols of this event!\n\n\n\nMask mandatory event (KN95 or better). Masks are provided at the door and required before entry.\n\n\n\nThis is a substance-free and sober-friendly event. Guests are welcome to consume before or after the event\, but please be mindful of intoxication levels.\n\n\n\nSliding scale tickets.\n\n\n\nThe canteen is open for non-alcoholic beverages.
