SUMMARY:Dance Party & Patio Hang
DESCRIPTION:🔆 It’s spring and we’re thinking patios! Dance party and patio hangs @ottawabikecafe on June 20th – @djdelpilar on the decks\, 7-10 pm. Guest performances by @theresagrahamstudio! \n\n\n\nThe Ottawa Bike Cafe is a physically accessible space with lots of room\, high ceilings\, a powerful HVAC system and a sweet patio. The cafe serves a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages alongside alcoholic drinks and food. Eating and drinking on the patio\, please.😷KN95 or equivalent masks are required indoors and optional outdoors. Some N95s (overhead straps) will be available at the door for free. The staff may be wearing surgical masks\, but will be offered N95s (TBD).😷 More covid-safer info: Two air purifiers and the HVAC system will be running all night. We will have a CO2 monitor on the DJ table where anyone can check the levels anytime.🎟 Tickets are by donation; the suggested donation is $20 but starts at $0. We want to reduce financial barriers by making tickets truly pay what you can! If paying more isn’t a burden for you\, we welcome the support! \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect? \n\n\n\nInside: Dance party with DJ del Pilar and an activities table (coloring\, etc) for those who want to hear the music but not into dancing all the time. Special guest performer\, Theresa Graham will be joining us for two acts\, one at 8pm and another at 9pm! All performances will be masked. \n\n\n\nOutside: Games table and chill times. Masks optional outside and space for about 20 on the patio. Eating and drinking on the patio\, please.

Happening rain or shine!  \n\n\n\nWhat to bring:  \n\n\n\n☀️low chairs/blankets to sit on  \n\n\n\n☀️BYOB  \n\n\n\n☀️cash for hotdogs if you’re hungry (veg options available)  \n\n\n\n☀️good vibes  \n\n\n\n☀️cash or e-transfer for performers\, donations (suggested $20-30)  \n\n\n\nNo dogs allowed at this event (support animals welcome)\, all ages! Event will end promptly at 10PM in order to be respectful to neighbours.  \n\n\n\nAccessibility: masks optional (will have some available)\, flat backyard close to Tunney’s pasture. One portable toilet will be available for use. Growing up in the 90s\, his influences draw from the sounds of classic video game soundtracks\, punk\, grunge and metal. With a focus on Deep\, Progressive and Techno genres – he aims to bring people together\, make them feel and make them move. \n\n\n\nHe made his debut with MAP (Music.Art.Ppl) in Ottawa\, and has since graced stages across Ottawa (City At Night\, Mercury Lounge)\, Montreal and Toronto. He\, along with his beautiful partner Stacey\, run Basscamp – a local event group that aims to capture the essence of some of their favorite festivals\, creating welcoming experiences where people feel free and safe to dance\, express themselves and make genuine connections.
