DESCRIPTION:This K1 we honour the leadership\, resilience\, and contributions of women across our communities while creating space to reflect on progress\, challenges\, and collective empowerment. We will explore themes of equity\, advocacy\, and community leadership through guided discussion\, storytelling\, and shared learning. \n\n\n\nThis month\, we’re highlighting lived experiences\, community impact\, and pathways for meaningful engagement — from personal empowerment to collective action. Together\, we’ll create a space that uplifts voices\, strengthens connection\, and recognizes the role of community in driving change. \n\n\n\nJoin us to celebrate\, learn\, and be part of building a more inclusive and empowered future. \n\n\n\nMake sure to RSVP through the form below! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNotes on Access\n\n\n\n\nOur building has three elevators\, and our office is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a gender neutral and wheelchair accessible washroom just outside of our office. Please let us know in advance if you require any additional accommodations.\n\n\n\nOur office is right around the corner from bus stops for the 6\, 7\, and 11. We’re about a 5-minute walk from the nearest stop for the 14\, and a 10-minute walk from Parliament Station (Line 1 of the O-train). There are also several paid parking lots and garages within walking distance. If transit is a barrier for you to attend a session\, let us know and we’ll help you out!\n\n\n\nIf you get here after 6:30 pm\, the doors and elevator will be locked. DESCRIPTION:Queer Dodgeball is all about having fun. A low-commitment activity to do with friends – you might even make new friends too! \n\n\n\nHaven’t played dodgeball since elementary school? Don’t worry\, neither have we. The rules of the game are explained before every session. Headshots are not allowed. \n\n\n\nYou need: A pair of indoor shoes! You will not be granted access into the gym without this. \n\n\n\nHow to sign up?\n\n\n\nSign up for the full season or for individual games through the link below. For drop-ins\, select the date you’d like to sign up for and follow the prompts.  \n\n\n\nYou will receive a confirmation email upon payments. You only need to fill out the waiver and health questionnaire once per season.
