Group size TBD!  \n\n\n\nAdditional information:  \n\n\n\n\nPWO has a new “pay it forward” initiative\, that folks are welcome to access and/or contribute to. \n\n\n\nMost of the machines at Lowertown are on the ground level. A few are downstairs. Please inform a TD if you need to stick to the ground floor. \n\n\n\nLowertown has one gender neutral & accessible washroom on the ground floor. The door must be opened manually (no automatic door). \n\n\n\nWhen in the lower level room\, feel free to close the sliding door to avoid disruptions from curious patrons. The lower level is not as closely monitored by bar staff as the ground floor.

Facilitated by Jeremiah Bartram\, who has extensive training and experience as a writer and playwright. Inspired by the Writers’ Collective of Canada’s proven methodology. We will blend warm -up exercises\, creative prompts\, and reflective group discussion to get the writing flowing. This is not a therapy group – but personal wiring is powerful. The goal here is craft\, clarity\, and courage. SUMMARY:Psychic Death and Transitions
DESCRIPTION:Badly Licked Bear loves death. As a transsexual person\, as an Indigenous person\, as an adoption survivor\, as someone who works with the knowledge of the body and of bodies\, death is a constant companion in her work.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will be held in exploring psychic deaths\, what it means to be “once dead and twice born\,” and how our sexuality often skirts\, confronts\, plays with\, or outright embraces death. What does it mean to bring death and the process of death consciously into one’s daily life and practices?  \n\n\n\nQueer Death Salon is a community space for all 2SLGBTQIA+ people to come together to discuss death\, dying and grief. It is a facilitated drop-in discussion space\, with the purpose of building connection\, skill\, and resources for 2SLGBTQIA+ people navigating end of life in our personal lives and in our communities.  \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own questions\, stories\, and complexities to share.

Pause de 10 minutes après 30 minutes.\n\n\n\n« Check-in » avant la fin du groupe (participation optionnelle)\n\n\n\nAnnonces (messages de Trans Outaouais\, événements à venir\, etc.)\n\n\n\nFin du groupe.\n\n\n\n\nÀ propos de l’animation : \n\n\n\nStéph Meunier (iel/ellui\, il/lui\, elle) anime des groupes de soutien et des ateliers pour la communauté 2SLGBTQIA+ depuis plus de 10 ans. Iel anime le groupe trans 16 ans + de Trans Outaouais depuis 2024 et a travaillé avec l’organisme alors qu’iel travaillait chez Jeunesse Idem comme intervenant·e. Son approche est ancrée dans l’anti-oppression et la justice sociale. Son animation vise à encourager l’empowerment des participant·es et à cultiver l’entraide et un sens d’appartenance à la communauté que l’on construit ensemble. Au quotidien\, Stéph aime chanter avec des ami·es\, nager\, faire de l’art et vivre en coop d’habitation.
