DESCRIPTION:A running and walking club for 2SLGBTQ+ community and friends in the National Capital Region\, meeting Tuesday nights\, Friday nights\, and Saturday mornings (09:00 (spring\, summer\, fall); 09:30 (winter; from the first Saturday of December to the last Saturday of March)) at 111 Lisgar Street\, the rear entrance of City Hall. \n\n\n\nRuns are held: \n\n\n\n\nTuesdays at 6:30 pm\, after which we go for coffee (Routes)\n\n\n\nSaturdays at 9:00 am (9:30 am from the first Saturday of December to the last Saturday of March inclusive)\, followed by breakfast  (Routes)\n\n\n\n\nWomen’s 5km run \n\n\n\n\nFridays at 5:00 pm\n\n\n\nThis event is open to all who identify as women\, female-identifying\, non-binary\, and Two-Spirit individuals\n\n\n\nFor more details\, please email wmns@ottawafrontrunners.org \n\n\n\n\nNOTICE: 2025 Gatineau runs — Saturdays\, 10 May\, 14 June\, 12 July\, 9 August\, 13 September\, and 11 October. \n\n\n\nCancellation of runs are rare\, only owing to holidays and hazardous weather. DESCRIPTION:K1 en français revient avec une soirée de réflexion et de discussion qui promet d’être touchante et enrichissante! Le prochain événement sera une ciné-discussion spéciale autour du documentaire L’amour en partage. \n\n\n\nL’amour en partage \n\n\n\nCe court documentaire francophone plonge au cœur des expériences de personnes LGBTQ racisées. À travers des entretiens sincères\, les participant·es partagent les défis liés à l’intersection de leur identité\, notamment la queerphobie racialisée\, c’est-à-dire la discrimination vécue non seulement à cause de leur orientation sexuelle ou genre\, mais aussi en raison de leur origine ethnique ou raciale  . \n\n\n\nLe film met en lumière : \n\n\n\n\nLa double marginalisation : certains témoignent de micro‑agressions ou d’actes clairement discriminatoires\, à la fois sur des bases queer et raciales.\n\n\n\nLe poids des stéréotypes : l’homonationalisme est abordé\, où certaines formes de queerphobie sont expliquées comme étant culturellement “excusables” ou plus durables quand elles viennent de personnes racisées  .\n\n\n\nLes parcours de résilience et de réaffirmation : des récits de survivance\, de réappropriation culturelle et de fierté queer‑racisée montrent comment\, malgré les obstacles\, ces personnes trouvent force et communauté.\n\n\n\n\nEn résumé\, L’amour en partage invite à une réflexion sur les réalités vécues à cette double identité\, souligne l’importance de reconnaître et combattre les multiples formes d’oppression\, et valorise les stratégies de résistance et de solidarité au sein de la communauté.
