His raw passion for electronic music began in 2013 when he first discovered electronic music\, and quickly fell in love. He began experimenting within electro house and carved out his own style of groovy underground\, bass-heavy groove – rooted in house and techno\, with a flair for intricate ear candy\, female vocal textures – and a low-end that he affectionately dubs “mature wubs.” \n\n\n\nSokotta spends most of his free time in the studio\, refining his unique sound\, and playing his music in clubs and festivals across Canada – including The Womp\, Sonic Springs\, Summerdaze as well as Black Rabbit Campout. \n\n\n\nSokotta’s releases have been met with a warm reception by the dance music community.
