Along with the Queerly Crafty day) and afternoon (the regular Queerly Crafty Afternoon) at the Grove Studio’s new location in Chinatown South! \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in the crafty supply swap\, head over in the morning and see what’s up for grabs! Bring some supplies that you want out of your home\, and go home with some supplies you didn’t know you needed! \n\n\n\nAnd stick around for the Queerly Crafty Day! Bring a craft (sewing\, knitting\, crocheting\, quilting\, embroidery\, etc) and enjoy a day with fellow sewists\, crafters\, and creators! This event is open to writers above the age of 18. \n\n\n\nMeeting monthly\, The Writers’ Salon offers a space for writers to connect\, share and build community. The Writers’ Salon is open to writers of all backgrounds\, genres and experience levels and is hosted by Meg\, a neuroqueer writer\, artist and creative care practitioner. \n\n\n\nThe Writers’ Salon is hosted at The Grove. DESCRIPTION:Topic: 2024 Recap & 2025 Plans! \n\n\n\nWe always Keep It 100 (K1) when we’re together! \n\n\n\nOnce a month we come together for our version of a black family cookout\, sharing space and good food from within the African diaspora. K1 serves as a safe space by black queer folks\, for black queer folks\, giving us the opportunity to share our experiences and culture. With each K1 meeting we explore various aspects of life\, covering topics like Sex\, Friends & Family\, Education and Work.  \n\n\n\nKeeping it 100\, or K1 for short\, is a peer discussion group for African\, Caribbean\, and Black queer men and trans and non-binary folks. \n\n\n\nWe embrace the complexity of blackness and how it is expressed with our end of year celebration called Black Queer Excellence (BQE) – A black queer party that celebrates our cultures and identities!
