DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting community organizers and groups at this fair because we wanted to help queer folk living in Ottawa-Gatineau to find new spaces of belonging. Come check out our 13 (!) vendors and see all the wonderful people trying to make Ottawa a city with a thriving LGBTQ+ community! \n\n\n\nWe will be hosting the fair at 312 Laurier Avenue East at 1pm-4pm on September 28th! \n\n\n\nWe are planning to host it in the parking lot of the Amnesty International office building (weather permitting!) This event will be mobility accessible and masked so we can include as many people as we can! 💜 \n\n\n\nSome N-95 masks will be available but there is a limited supply so bring your own if you can! \n\n\n\nCome meet a few artists too and help support them by buying cool stuff 👀 \n\n\n\nTell your friends and we hope to see you there! 🌈💜

DESCRIPTION:What to expect: Non-binary people and friends hanging out and crafting. We have supplies for making bracelets\, folding origami\, colored beads\, embroidery floss\, and plastic lace. Volunteer coordinators will be wearing name tags and can help answer any questions you might have. \n\n\n\nIf you would like an idea of what the event space looks like\, check out our recent pics in the gallery. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: You don’t need to bring anything. You are welcome to bring your own crafting materials. Food and drink is welcome\, also.

DESCRIPTION:🌊Swim Night is BACK! 🌊Grab your goggles and your pals\, Trans About Town: Swim Night is happening every last Sunday of the month! \n\n\n\nThis monthly program is open to trans and gender-diverse children and youth (ages 0-24)\, family and friends are welcome to join in and share the fun! \n\n\n\nProgram Details: \n\n\n\n\nLocation: Jack Purcell Community Centre Pool\n\n\n\nTime: 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. \n\n\n\nDate: Last Sunday of each month\n\n\n\nCost: $2.77 per person. Children under 2 enter for free.If cost is a concern\, please let us know – we’re happy to help!\n\n\n\n\nBy filling out the registration form\, you’ll reserve your spot and receive a reminder email a few days before the event. Before attending\, please take a moment to review the City of Ottawa’s pool safety regulations. \n\n\n\nPlease Note:The pool we use for Trans About Town Swim Nights is a warm water pool\, meaning the pool (and room) is kept at a warmer temperature than most public pools.
