Let’s come together this February. \n\n\n\n🌈 Some attendees have included therapists\, artists\, barbers\, system navigators\, first responders\, community organizers\, mortgage brokers\, physicians… and the list keeps growing. \n\n\n\nlet’s talk about the fire / yes the world is heavy / yes that pain is realstart on time / even if time is a meaningless construct \n\n\n\nritual may not rescue / but rhythms can steady chaos \n\n\n\nyes you matter / yes it is scary / we don’t have answers but we’re still here helping \n\n\n\ninvite rage to rise / honor silence to stretch / make space for sensations that lack words and resolution \n\n\n\nallow questioning / bargaining / longing / crying / allowing all parts of you to be enveloped in community \n\n\n\nall emotions can unravel here \n\n\n\nkeep showing up with care / not because care saves or removes ache but because even in collapse / there is connection \n\n\n\nand in connection / there is softness fierce enough to carry the grief that silence does not fix / together\, we can hold what is too heavy to hold alone

DESCRIPTION:Join MAX for our Black History Month edition of K1. Bring your knowledge\, your friends\, and your competitive spirit\, because this month we’re playing trivia! \n\n\n\nOur trivia questions will cover history\, music\, and culture\, and are centered on queer Black history. Come ready to laugh\, meet friends\, and learn something new! \n\n\n\nK1 (short for Keeping it 100) is our monthly group for queer African\, Black\, and Caribbean people.   \n\n\n\nPlease RSVP through the form below to let us know you’re coming! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNotes on Accessibility\n\n\n\n\nOur building has three elevators\, and our office is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a gender neutral and wheelchair accessible washroom just outside of our office. Please let us know in advance if you require any additional accommodations.\n\n\n\nOur office is right around the corner from bus stops for the 6\, 7\, and 11. We’re about a 5-minute walk from the nearest stop for the 14\, and a 10-minute walk from Parliament Station (Line 1 of the O-train). There are also several paid parking lots and garages within walking distance. If transit is a barrier for you to attend a session\, let us know and we’ll help you out!\n\n\n\nIf you get here after 6:30 pm\, the doors and elevator will be locked. DESCRIPTION:Queer Dodgeball is all about having fun. A low-commitment activity to do with friends – you might even make new friends too! \n\n\n\nHaven’t played dodgeball since elementary school? Don’t worry\, neither have we. The rules of the game are explained before every session. Headshots are not allowed. \n\n\n\nYou need: A pair of indoor shoes! You will not be granted access into the gym without this. \n\n\n\nHow to sign up?\n\n\n\nSign up for the full season or for individual games through the link below. For drop-ins\, select the date you’d like to sign up for and follow the prompts.  \n\n\n\nYou will receive a confirmation email upon payments. You only need to fill out the waiver and health questionnaire once per season.
