DESCRIPTION:OSPN in partnership with The Good Companions is delighted to offer in person programming to our 55+ LGBTQ2+ community.  \n\n\n\nJoin us every second and fourth Saturday of the month for a range of engaging activities\, from educational workshops to social programming\, all designed to foster connection\, support\, and enjoyment. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can feel comfortable\, respected\, and celebrate. \n\n\n\nFor more information on Out and About Saturdays programming\, contact Sarah Rea at sarah@thegoodcompanions.ca. \n\n\n\nParking is available at the centre for $2.50 a day or $30.00 annually. \n\n\n\n*Please Note: Individual financial restrictions will never be a barrier to accessing Out and About Saturdays or becoming a member of The Good Companions. Subsidies are available on a case-by-case basis.

DESCRIPTION:Come work on zines with us as we work on the next issue of The Dragon Flyer\, the Ottawa Trans Library’s community zine. Write\, draw\, scan\, cut\, and paste with us on our community zine or your own project\, or just come hang out with us. We are collecting stories\, jokes\, poems\, art\, and more from the trans and non-binary community in Ottawa and our friends and families. \n\n\n\nThe zine workshop is a collaborative event to discuss\, share\, and work on zines together. \n\n\n\nCome tell your story. We will provide paper\, templates\, and whatever art supplies we have. No experience necessary. All ages welcome\, children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
