DESCRIPTION:3… 2… 1 🏁💨 \n\n\n\nSlip on your pumps and join us at the Tamarack Race Weekend to fundraise for some new\, exciting programs like the expansion of GayZone and new mental health supports! \n\n\n\nAs our community’s needs have changed and adapted\, so have we. In the last year\, we provided over 600 essential health services referrals for harm reduction and addiction support\, HIV/STI testing\, PrEP/PEP access\, and mental health. Our programs ran stronger than ever\, our health services expanded\, and we implemented several initiatives–like the List–to support and amplify the wellbeing of our community. \n\n\n\nWe are so grateful for all of your support and hope to see you on race weekend! \n\n\n\nSupport MAX Ottawa by: \n\n\n\n\nRunning with us on race weekend;\n\n\n\nFundraising for MAX Ottawa or donating to our JustGiving page;\n\n\n\nCampaigning for MAX on your social media;\n\n\n\nFollowing us and interacting with our posts on Instagram;\n\n\n\nSubscribing to our Weekly Roundup to stay up to date on everything going on with MAX and the local queer events and opportunities in your region.\n\n\n\n\nIf you’re singing up to run: \n\n\n\n\nPick the race you want to run (most of the MAX team are running the 5km\, but props if you can run for longer!) at www.runottawa.ca.\n\n\n\nDo not create a fundraising page through the race weekend registration. DESCRIPTION:A running and walking club for 2SLGBTQ+ community and friends in the National Capital Region\, meeting Tuesday nights\, Friday nights\, and Saturday mornings (09:00 (spring\, summer\, fall); 09:30 (winter; from the first Saturday of December to the last Saturday of March)) at 111 Lisgar Street\, the rear entrance of City Hall. \n\n\n\nRuns are held: \n\n\n\n\nTuesdays at 6:30 pm\, after which we go for coffee (Routes)\n\n\n\nSaturdays at 9:00 am (9:30 am from the first Saturday of December to the last Saturday of March inclusive)\, followed by breakfast  (Routes)\n\n\n\n\nWomen’s 5km run \n\n\n\n\nFridays at 5:00 pm\n\n\n\nThis event is open to all who identify as women\, female-identifying\, non-binary\, and Two-Spirit individuals\n\n\n\nFor more details\, please email wmns@ottawafrontrunners.org \n\n\n\n\nNOTICE: 2025 Gatineau runs — Saturdays\, 10 May\, 14 June\, 12 July\, 9 August\, 13 September\, and 11 October. \n\n\n\nCancellation of runs are rare\, only owing to holidays and hazardous weather.
