Guest performances by @theresagrahamstudio! \n\n\n\nThe Ottawa Bike Cafe is a physically accessible space with lots of room\, high ceilings\, a powerful HVAC system and a sweet patio. The cafe serves a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages alongside alcoholic drinks and food. Eating and drinking on the patio\, please.😷KN95 or equivalent masks are required indoors and optional outdoors. Some N95s (overhead straps) will be available at the door for free. The staff may be wearing surgical masks\, but will be offered N95s (TBD).😷 More covid-safer info: Two air purifiers and the HVAC system will be running all night. We will have a CO2 monitor on the DJ table where anyone can check the levels anytime.🎟 Tickets are by donation; the suggested donation is $20 but starts at $0. DESCRIPTION:The annual Dragon Boat Festival is back at Mooney’s Bay for another great weekend! Come by and cheer on this year’s queer teams representing queer organizations like the Ottawa Senior Pride Network and the YSB: the Vintage Queers and DRAGon Boats are scheduled to paddle away Saturday at 9:10AM with the rest of their races being determined by performance.  \n\n\n\nRACE FORMAT: \n\n\n\nAll teams are guaranteed two 500m races on Saturday. \n\n\n\nTop teams will advance to Sunday to compete in three additional races. Here is the summary of the number of teams advancing in each division: \n\n\n\n\nWomen: 32 teams\n\n\n\nMixed: 75 teams\n\n\n\nOpen: 16 teams\n\n\n\n\nAWARDS:\n\n\n\n\nSaturday Challenge Cup Awards: First place teams in the various Challenge Cup categories will receive individual medals and a large team trophy.\n\n\n\nTeam Site\, Team T-Shirt and Team Spirit Awards will be presented on Saturday.\n\n\n\nSunday 500m Awards: Top three teams in each division will be awarded medals. DESCRIPTION:EVERYONE is welcome (please bring your friends!) to join us for a fun evening of 5-pin bowling at the West Park Lanes bowling alley at 1205 Wellington Street West. We play two games. The cost is $10.00\, including shoe rental. It’s quite informal. You don’t have to join a team\, just show up at West Park Lanes. Please come to the lanes early—at least 15 minutes early.
