DESCRIPTION:🔆 It’s spring and we’re thinking patios! Dance party and patio hangs @ottawabikecafe on June 20th – @djdelpilar on the decks\, 7-10 pm. Guest performances by @theresagrahamstudio! \n\n\n\nThe Ottawa Bike Cafe is a physically accessible space with lots of room\, high ceilings\, a powerful HVAC system and a sweet patio. The cafe serves a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages alongside alcoholic drinks and food. Eating and drinking on the patio\, please.😷KN95 or equivalent masks are required indoors and optional outdoors. Some N95s (overhead straps) will be available at the door for free. The staff may be wearing surgical masks\, but will be offered N95s (TBD).😷 More covid-safer info: Two air purifiers and the HVAC system will be running all night. We will have a CO2 monitor on the DJ table where anyone can check the levels anytime.🎟 Tickets are by donation; the suggested donation is $20 but starts at $0. We want to reduce financial barriers by making tickets truly pay what you can! Come by and cheer on this year’s queer teams representing queer organizations like the Ottawa Senior Pride Network and the YSB: the Vintage Queers and DRAGon Boats are scheduled to paddle away Saturday at 9:10AM with the rest of their races being determined by performance.  \n\n\n\nRACE FORMAT: \n\n\n\nAll teams are guaranteed two 500m races on Saturday. \n\n\n\nTop teams will advance to Sunday to compete in three additional races. If you require any support to participate in this event\, please reach out. \n\n\n\nAs part of this commitment\, we will be requiring high-quality (KN95 or better) masks for all those attending\, including our vendors. We will have a variety of extra masks available (including kids sizes). \n\n\n\nOther Access Notes:☆ The Grove has extra air purification throughout the space + open windows to facilitate air flow.☆ There is an Aranet CO2 monitor on site.☆ The Grove is wheelchair accessible\, with an elevator to access the space.☆ Accessible gendered (unfortunately) washrooms on site.☆ Accessible by public transit (#14\, 11\, 10\, 85)\, with paid on street parking (subject to availability!)☆ Low/no-scent space.
