DESCRIPTION:A social for not-cis-man queers. Meet new friends & lovers\, make some crafts\, share astrological signs. Extremely chill and low-stakes event to get out of the house for a bit and be with other queers. \n\n\n\nMasks required. Some will be provided at the door but bringing your own is encouraged! N95s or KN95s are sooo sexyyyyy oooo. \n\n\n\nBYO craft stuff or use what’s provided! \n\n\n\nACCESS INFO:\n\n\n\nArt House has limited seating! Come early to guarantee a place to sit. Please email Maggie (maggiemharder@icloud.com) or DM (@maggiemayharder) if you need a guaranteed seat. \n\n\n\nArt House provides gender-neutral washrooms. There is one wheelchair accessible washroom. There is no wheelchair ramp. There is a set of 8 stairs to get into the building (7 steps\, small landing\, and then an 8th step). Once inside\, the whole cafe floor is flat\, with the exception of the small room to the side\, which is a small step down. \n\n\n\n19+. (Art House is not a 19+ venue\, but because this event is in part to find sweeties/cuties/flirt\, the event is 19+).

DESCRIPTION:We are back for season seven\, and our first iteration features poetry\, fiction and throatsinging performances centred on the theme of futurisms. Envision our future. Ask yourself: how can we collectively shift these existing sociopolitical structures? What can I do? How can I disrupt? This is futurisms. \n\n\n\nCome find out how Qattuu\, Shō Yamagushiku and Whitney French approach this topic on Wednesday\, May 13. The night will start with an open mic\, so bring a poem or short piece of prose or performance to share (2 minute time cap) to Club SAW. This event is PWYC with a suggested donation of $20-$25. \n\n\n\nRiverbed Reading Series is an inclusive\, experimental gathering space. Part poetry reading\, part musical performance\, part cabaret\, we are driven by the belief that the artistic spheres are connected.
