DESCRIPTION:We’ll be gathering at the Cre:8 space on Sparks Street next weekend to fold zines and chat about the election! We’ll have STACKS of printed versions of our 24 ward zines for folks to fold and take home! Attendees can bring home copies to share in their neighbourhood or with friends and family. \n\n\n\nDrop by at any time between 1:00 – 3:00PM. \n\n\n\nLet’s get excited about the election!!!

DESCRIPTION:An afternoon of art\, joy\, connection & civic imagination \n\n\n\nThis summer\, through our Picnics for Living Futures series\, we gathered across three creative picnics to explore play\, storytelling\, collective care\, and civic possibility. \n\n\n\nAlong the way\, we made art\, shared stories\, built connections\, and imagined new possibilities for the future of our city. \n\n\n\nNow\, we’re bringing the series to a close and creating space for what comes next with Building the Ottawa We Dream Of on September 26.  \n\n\n\nJoin us for an afternoon of art\, conversation\, connection\, and civic imagination as we celebrate what we’ve made and imagined together\, reflect on what we’ve discovered along the way\, and continue exploring the Ottawa we want to build. \n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\nThroughout the afternoon\, you’ll have opportunities to: \n\n\n\n🎨 Experience community-created art and creative works from the Picnics for Living Futures series \n\n\n\n💬 Connect and share ideas with community members\, artists\, organizers\, and local organizations \n\n\n\n🌱 Reflect on collective experiences from the summer and the possibilities they opened up \n\n\n\n✨ Imagine new futures for Ottawa through creative and participatory activities \n\n\n\n🤝 Discover local organizations and initiatives working toward more connected\, caring\, and imaginative communities \n\n\n\nWhether you joined us for one of the picnics\, participated throughout the summer\, or are discovering Picnics for Living Futures for the first time\, you’re warmly invited to join us. \n\n\n\nThis is a free community gathering\, and everyone is welcome. \n\n\n\nPlease register through Eventbrite so we can plan for the day and ensure we have enough space and materials for everyone. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to gathering with you\, celebrating what we’ve created together\, and continuing to explore what becomes possible when we make space to imagine and build our collective future together. \n\n\n\nCome with your ideas.
