Join us at the Community Reunion for: \n\n\n\n Live Performances – live music\, drag\, spoken word\, and DJ sets Food – African and Caribbean food ️‍ Community Fair – tables for organizations\, vendors\, artisans\, and mutual aid groups \n\n\n\nTo join us\, sign up through the form below! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Chez Nous\n\n\n\nThis three-day celebration honors African and Newcomer queer and trans identities through performance\, community building\, and ballroom culture. It runs from July 24–26\, 2026\, in partnership with Kind Space\, the LGBTQIA+ Newcomer Program at Centretown Community Health Centre\, Touchgrass\, United in Pride\, and Pride is Political. \n\n\n\nAccessibility Notes\n\n\n\n\nMcNabb is accessible by public transit\n\n\n\nFree parking is available via 180 Percy Street entrance \n\n\n\nPlease walk with any personal supports to combat the summer weather (sunscreen\, water\, umbrellas\, hats\, etc)\n\n\n\nWashrooms are available inside the McNabb Recreational Centre.

Are you curious about new ways to practice mindfulness and play?! \n\n\n\nJoin us for a FREE silent disco park clean up\, where you’ll be able to listen to music with other participants using Bluetooth headphones while clearing McNabb park of litter and trash. Featured channel will be a live DJ set courtesy of DJ Del Pilar. \n\n\n\nNot interested in dancing? Drop by to chat with community volunteers who are passionate about ending plastic pollution and promoting circular economies. \n\n\n\n6:15 pm – 8 pm Tuesday May 13th 2025 – McNabb Park (180 Percy St)Rain date: Wednesday May 14th 2025\, 6:15 pm – 8 pm \n\n\n\nHeadphones\, trash bags\, gloves and a limited number of trash pickers will be provided – Bring water\, comfortable shoes\, and a piece of ID for your headphones deposit! \n\n\n\nAlthough registration is not required\, you can secure your headset by registering through the link below!
