DJ 101 with DJ del Pilar

Want to learn how to DJ, but not sure where to start? Sign up for this 101 course for an introduction to DJing with DJ del Pilar!

What to expect?

This is a hands-off course for those with no experience to familiarize themselves with definitions, gear and where to find music. You’ll be encouraged to think about what you want to get out of DJing and how that might shape what you need to learn. You’ll also meet others who are interested in DJing!

Takeaways

You’ll go home with some resources for learning more about DJing including sites where you can learn to beatmatch using your computer and buy music. You can also sign up to attend our 201 class that begins shortly after the 101 is over.

DJ 101 is PWYC with a suggested donation of $5-20 to help cover the cost of equipment, planning & space.

Demo Set

DJDP will show you how to set up and perform a set from start to finish (folks can ask questions throughout). Free with ticket to either 101 or 201!
