Halo-Halo: All-Asian Drag Fiesta

Halo-Halo is named after a beloved Filipino dessert which means “mix-mix”, and a metaphor for the vibrant mix of identities and backgrounds that make up the queer Asian community. Just like the dessert that brings together colorful ingredients into something uniquely delicious, Halo-Halo celebrates the diversity Asian drag performers offer but is rarely highlighted.
Enjoy Saboroso Bistro’s delicious Filipino offerings, such as Sisig, Inasal, Lumpiang Shanghai, and Halo-Halo, with a side of amazing drag performances and surprises.
Featuring Hong Dong, Babeblade, Fabian Fabulous, Karen Ligays, Aishwarya Coe, and Mx. Capital Pride 2024 Edith Puthie. Hosted by Ottawa’s Alien Resident, Esther Royd.
The show is open to all ages. Doors open at 4:30 PM, and the show will start at 5 PM. Food is not included in the ticket.
