History of Gays of Ottawa

Gays of Ottawa (GO, 1971-1995) was Ottawa’s first 2SLGBTQ+ organization, providing social services, political activism and awareness, and social events for a burgeoning community.

Join us as Glenn Crawford recounts the challenges and successes of GO from its humble origins to a catastrophic fire, to its founding of other significant groups and services and its eventual closure.

Admission is free. All are welcome to attend.
