Le gardien des enfants
April 25 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
A theatrical performance in French that explores the scars left by violence on the bodies and minds of those who endure it. Much like the process of developing film in a darkroom, the image gradually comes into view, bathed in a strange, reddish light. Like an enigmatic ritual in this hazy space, Charles Voyer navigates the twists and turns of his memory, alone on stage.
A production by Théâtre indépendant, an award-winning queer theater company from Montreal, presented by Théâtre Catapulte at La Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins (333 King Edward).
