Queer Club Friday

Queer Club Friday is an evening chill hangout space that’s created for 2sLGBTQia+ folks to relax and transition into the weekend! Think of it as going to a friend’s house after a long week, to chat, play a game, or just be in the same space together and chill. We have some games for those who are competitive! Drop-in style – come whenever and stay however long you like!
Masking is required (recommended kn95 or better) , non – alcoholic beverages will be available and allowed to be consumed in the space.
About our sliding scale tickets
Money shouldn’t be a barrier to connection, creativity, or joy. Sliding scale pricing lets you choose the price that feels right based on your current financial reality. When those who have more pay more, it helps to keep our programming open to everyone, no matter the income. We trust you to assess your own situation with honest and care. There is no vetting process!
- Free ticket: for community members facing significant financial barriers
- $5 – Growing Stability: for those with tight or fluctuating resources
- $10 – Stable Income: for those with some stability but are still budgeting carefully
- $20 – Pay It For Me & Forward: for those with steady, reliable financial support
You might choose a lower-cost / free ticket if you:
- Receive public assistance (disability, unemployment, etc.)
- Financial support dependents (children, elders, others)
- Don’t have significant savings or safety nets
- Do survival work (gig work, informal, precarious labour)
- Have high expenses (medical, educational, etc.)
You might choose a higher-cost ticket if you:
- Feel financially secure enough to offer mutual support to others
- Have access to stable income, savings, or investments
- Own property or have inherited wealth
- Travel for leisure, eat out or order in regularly, invest in hobbies
