Queer SWANA Stories

November 23 @ 6:30 pm 9:30 pm

A live storytelling showcase in Ottawa–Gatineau, by and for queer SWANA artists.

Step into a night of powerful, moving, and unapologetic stories from the queer SWANA community. This is a space where oral histories, personal journeys, and cultural truths come alive—told in our voices, on our terms.

Queer SWANA Stories isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of resilience, creativity, and self-expression, highlighting the rich, diverse narratives that often go unheard. Join us for an evening that honors our identities, our experiences, and our communities.

Because our stories shouldn’t be written about us without us. 🖤

Schedule:

  • Doors open before showtime. Please arrive early for seating and access needs.
  • The program includes an intermission.

Credits:

  • Made possible with the support of Project WARP.
  • Presented by Queer SWANA Stories.
