Moving to a new city in a new country can be exciting but also challenging—especially when it comes to finding community and navigating language around gender and identity. This session is a space for queer newcomers in Ottawa to come together, share experiences, and talk about the role of gender and pronouns in our lives.
We’ll explore how pronouns are used across different cultures, why they matter for respect and inclusion, and how we can support one another in everyday conversations. Whether you’re new to these discussions or already confident, this is a chance to learn, connect, and grow with others in a supportive environment.
