As we step into a new year, come together with MAX and other queer newcomers in Ottawa to reflect and connect. We’ll look back on the past year—acknowledging our journeys, challenges, and growth—while also looking ahead to 2026 with hope, intention, and community support.
Whether you arrived in Ottawa recently or have been settled in for a while, this conversation invites you to share your experiences, celebrate resilience, and explore what you want for the year ahead. Together, we’ll talk about personal well-being, navigating life as newcomers, and the unique strengths we bring as 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.
