MUSIC FROM:
RETURN OF THE JADED
The Canadian producer, DJ, and badman known as Return of the Jaded offers electronic music synonymous with superior sound quality, history, nostalgia, and cheeky rave culture. By blurring the lines between tech house, indie house and melodic techno, he creates a truly unique dancefloor experience. He is fueled by the desire to offer fresh alternatives to electronic music trends and has made a lasting impression upon superstars, tastemakers, and underground aficionados alike.

His originals have charted Number 1 on Beatport over 10 times, with signature appearances on labels such as Diynamic, Experts Only, Repopulate Mars and many more. In 2023, ROTJ made a bold move by introducing his very own record label, Jaded Recordings. With an impressive catalog of productions that had already earned unwavering support from esteemed DJs, the launch of his imprint was a testament to his artistic vision and growing influence within the music industry.

The return of this enigmatic artist is a constant reminder that true artistry lies not in the limelight, but in the power to move bodies and souls through sound and rhythm.

SOKOTTA
Sokotta is a house and techno music producer based in Ottawa. His raw passion for electronic music began in 2013 when he first discovered electronic music, and quickly fell in love. He began experimenting within electro house and carved out his own style of groovy underground, bass-heavy groove – rooted in house and techno, with a flair for intricate ear candy, female vocal textures – and a low-end that he affectionately dubs “mature wubs.”

Sokotta spends most of his free time in the studio, refining his unique sound, and playing his music in clubs and festivals across Canada – including The Womp, Sonic Springs, Summerdaze as well as Black Rabbit Campout.

Sokotta’s releases have been met with a warm reception by the dance music community. Labels such as “Rock Bottom Records” and “Street Tracks” have each signed and promoted his work, solidifying his reputation within the electronic underground scene. Some of his breakout tracks include “Wanna” (Extended Mix), which was featured on the Litterbox 15 compilation (Box of Cats) earning attention from labels and electronic music communities alike.

DANI
Dani’s musical journey started on the drums. This was the first place she learned how rhythm can shape energy and movement – evolving in her DJ sets where she focuses on connection, movement, and exploration.

When she moved to Ottawa, the city’s vibrant community welcomed her with open arms, giving her the space to grow, experiment, and carve out her own identity through her sound. Her sets blend indie dance, electronic, organic house, tech house, and whatever else sparks her curiosity. She calls this journey a TECHNO KITTY ADVENTURE.

She has performed for multiple event collectives across Ottawa such as Black Rabbit Campout, House of Kink, DAZE events and White Rabbit. She is quickly carving out her place and rising in Ottawa’s electronic music scene – bringing out a fresh, tech‑infused, acid edge to every set.
