Strip Cheese IV: The Meltdown is a high energy burlesque spectacle returning after a decade to light up The Rainbow in Ottawa. Audiences can expect a glitter drenched evening of burlesque, live music, theatrical flair, camp excess, and bold stage artistry. The show brings together established icons of Ottawa’s burlesque scene alongside fearless rising stars, creating a dynamic celebration of legacy and fresh talent. From classic tease to unexpected spectacle, this is a night designed to surprise, delight, and dazzle.
Special Guests & Featured Artists
Hosted by Retro Joad, the evening features live music from Jumpin’ Joel Flash and performances from a vibrant, queer and diverse cast starring Pastel Supernova, Saffron St. James, Koston Kreme, Lana Lovecakes, The Divine Darlings, Strawberrie Feels and Bella Barecatt. Koston Kreme will also be vending her handcrafted accessories during the event.
Accessibility Information
The venue is located on the second floor and unfortunately does not have wheelchair accessibility. There is no elevator access. We recognize the barriers this presents and sincerely apologize to those who are unable to attend as a result. This event will include stage lighting and may feature flashing lights. Music and performances will be loud at times. Ear plugs will not be provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own. No food will be provided as part of the event.

This is a 19+ event. Government issued photo ID may be required for entry. The event is open to all who wish to celebrate burlesque in an inclusive and respectful environment.
