Don’t miss the bus on a special event dedicated to bettering transit in Ottawa! Join Good Golly Zines for a zine market, documentary film screening, and community panel on the future of transit in Ottawa.
In the featured documentary, The Train to Nowhere, local filmmaker Gio Petti takes an in-depth look at the past, present and future of Ottawa’s Light-Rail Transit and its impact on commuters, asking what it means to wait for progress and what happens when infrastructure meant to move a city forward remains distant. Following the documentary will be a panel discussion with Gio Petti, local community leaders, and transit activists to keep the conversation going. What would it take to fix Ottawa’s public transit problem?
What hope do we have for the future of public transit? So get your tickets and Presto cards ready for what’s sure to be a memorable event dedicated to bettering Ottawa.
