Vintage Queers Dragon Boat Club Training Session

Who We Are:
- 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, allies, friends of all ages, and Ottawa Senior Pride Network members
- No experience needed—we’ll teach you and provide all equipment
- Our focus is on community, teamwork and belonging, fun, fitness and friendship
This session will focus on Strength and Endurance Training
- Feel better on the water: Focusing on strength and cardio now means less fatigue, smoother technique, and fewer sore shoulders/backs in the spring.
- Stay social and engaged: Practice keeps the team connected through winter.
- Fewer injuries: Gentle shoulder, core, and hip work protects common paddling trouble spots.
Meet our Coach: Sarah is a Level 2 Dragon Boat Coach who blends functional and mindful movement to deliver safe, energizing sessions.
Teaching fitness since 2008 and certified in a variety of modalities, they focus on real‑life results: better balance and gait, core and pelvic floor control, and sustainable strength. Passionate about dragon boat and holistic health, they equip people with simple routines to move confidently on the water and on land.
