HIV Testing

Take your sexual health into your own hands

Empower yourself by exploring your options for STI testing

At MAX, we offer convenient and completely anonymous HIV self-test kits available right in our office—no registration or account setup needed. Our in-office self-test kits provide a hassle-free and private option for HIV testing: simply walk in or order a kit through MAX’s Tea2Go program. If you need guidance on how to use the kit, someone from the team can show you how it works.

Need more comprehensive STI testing? We partner with GetAKit, where you can order full-service STI self-testing. You’ll need to register and create an account, if it’s your first time using the service, but after that, just log in to order more testing or to see your results. You will need an OHIP card to set up your account, You can find more information here at GetAKit’s Frequently Asked Questions page.

If you don’t have an OHIP card for any reason, contact the Ottawa Public Health Sexual Health Clinic at 179 Clarence St. 613-234-4641.
