Through interviews with trans individuals and endocrinologists, the study analyzes the social context of the provision of hormone therapy for trans folks in Russia. The discussion of unsupervised hormone therapy due to lack of diagnosis, high expenses of testing and appointments, age restrictions and individual perspectives is explored.
