The Spaniel's Tale Bookstore is a queer-owned independent bookstore in Ottawa, Ontario, serving Hintonburg, Wellington Village, Westboro, Mechanicsville, Little Italy, and beyond. We offer a curated selection of contemporary fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, as well as greeting cards and other gifts.

We're located on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation whose presence here reaches back to time immemorial, and we recognize the Anishinaabe as the past, present, and future stewards of this land.
