  • Wellness practices
  • Diverse support pathways
  • Reducing stigma
  • Strengthening self-awareness

Notes about accessibility

  1. Our building has three elevators, and our office is fully wheelchair accessible. Different seating options are available throughout the evening. There is a gender neutral and wheelchair accessible washroom just outside of our office. Please let us know in advance if you require any additional accommodations.
  2. Our office is right around the corner from bus stops for the 6, 7, and 11. We’re about a 5-minute walk from the nearest stop for the 14, and a 10-minute walk from Parliament Station (Line 1 of the O-train). There are also several paid parking lots and garages within walking distance. If transit is a barrier for you to attend a session, let us know and we’ll help you out!
  3. If you get here after 6:30 pm, the doors and elevator will be locked. Don’t worry — just press the MAX buzzer on the side of the door or give us a call at 613‑701‑6555 or 343‑307‑0494. (You can also reach us on WhatsApp!)
  4. Signed up for a session but can no longer make it? No problem — just shoot us an email at a.wilson@maxottawa.ca as soon as you can.
